This 92-page full-color 11 x 8.5 landscape format softcover has over 175 photos. Jerry graciously gave me access to his thousands of railroad images... This book is a compilation of photographs of railroad operations in Spokane's Inland Empire from the 1960s to 1990s, with occasional forays around the Western United States.
Jerry was born in New Jersey and moved to Spokane in 1967
with a dream for a better life than what was possible in New Jersey..
He has an ongoing interest in railroads on what they did, where they went, and how they worked. He is a master model railroad builder and the two interests naturally coincide with each other.
His most noted achievement is his effort to save the Great Northern depot from demolition in 1972. Today it's clocktower is an icon of the city of Spokane.
