Railroads of Montana 2024 Calendars
 
The first desktop endeavor of the Railroads of Montana began with the 1999/2000 18-month calendar. Prior to that time, I had many articles and photographs featured in all the railfan publications. Since I had literally  thousands of Montana railroad images from the 1970s up 2000 - 
I figured it was time to work up my own publications. The first calendar was a printing disaster - I tried a local Lewistown, MT printer that could just not get the color right. Anyway - if you have one of those early calendars, they are a collectors item as I threw out most of the copies.
 
During the past 25-years I have progressed from calendars to Arcadia Publishing books and quite a number of self-published books. This year's calendar has two bonus pages highlighting a thumbnail of every calendar
and book chronicling the history of my publishing career.
 
I have decided that I need to close up shop with Railroads of Montana.
After 25-years it time to retire. I will keep the web site going for awhile
until it appears that no one is using it.
